It's been a baaaaaaaad week for dieting!

It has been a few days since I last posted and to be honest, I am a little ashamed at my lack of weight loss this week. I have maintained my weight but nothing extra has come off. Hurumph! My husband and I have been trying to buy a house and it looks like it is going to work out *crosses fingers*.  I haven't spent too much time worrying about my diet OR exercise so it isn't a shock to me that I haven't lost any more weight. Also, certain womanly things happen that make your body crave carbs like none other don't help! I'm not going to blame anything on my unsuccessful week, except myself. I hold myself accountable, plain and simple.

To rectify my mistakes I am going to reinstate my attendance at the local Zumba class. I love to exercise with the ladies there and it is just so easy, because you are dancing!

Don't think that one bad week breaks a diet and exercise plan, you just need to work through it and never give up! Most likely, if you give up, you will make horrible decisions and be even more angry with yourself.

  1. At least you are honest and you are willing to make a change for your life... I wish you the best of luck with your weight loss and toning you have to make sure your toning while your losing weight too. Do you get MTV on there is a show called I used to Fat and it was really good how the things their trainers put them through to get the weight off in the time they want to get it off in and it is unbelievable what they do and they loose the weight they wanted to get off..... So wish you the best.... : )

  3. NEVER give up. You can do it. I am on a weight loss plan too. I have only lost 10 pounds but I am finally resigning myself to the excercise gig. My girlfriends and I have started a walking group. I am going to check out Zumba, that does sound like fun. Thanks for the tip. Jana www.adoctorandanurse.com
